Varna is a woman’s shift dress and a sleeveless top pattern, with an elegant V-shaped back neckline.
Both the dress and the top have a regular fit and a classic style. There is a slight shaping in the waist.
Varna is a basic wear, but you can play around with the necklines and the fabric textures to achieve a different effect, every time you sew it.
An earthy tone linen dress, you can wear every day in summer and layer with leggings and a cardigan between seasons.
A little black dress with a v-neck or a classic round neck and statement neckless can dress you up for any occasion.

Recommended fabric - the Varna dress looks lovely in medium to heavy-weight woven fabrics, but also in heavy weight knit fabrics. We recommend a bit stiffer fabrics like linen, twill, poplin.
For the top, you can use lightweight fabrics as well: viscose, rayon, Tencel, crepe, georgette, or cotton lawn.
Both versions would look good sewn with medium or heavy weight knit fabrics like Ponte knit, French Terry, jacquard sweat, sweatshirt fabric, interlock.

The pattern includes sizes: EU - 32 to 56/ US - 0 to 24

Sewing level - adventurous beginner.

Seam allowance is included.
